The Two-Step Integration is a lightweight, high-speed workflow similar to the Manual Integration, but optimized for same-day turnaround. It’s designed for situations where packages are shipped out almost immediately after they arrive — eliminating storage time and handling delays.

Overview

Like the Manual workflow, the Two-Step Integration isn’t tied to any specific marketplace (e.g., Amazon or Walmart). Instead, it’s a direct process between the client and our warehouse, allowing the client to request shipments, upload their own labels, and manage fulfillment directly within HexPrep’s dashboard. The key difference is that Two-Step shipments allow pre-uploaded labels, letting our team receive and ship packages instantly upon arrival.

How It Works

1. Client Creates a Two-Step Order

Clients create a Two-Step inbound order from their dashboard. When submitting the request, you can:
  • Upload shipping labels in advance
  • Add any notes or identifiers to help match packages when they arrive
Because the labels are already attached to the request, our warehouse doesn’t need to wait for label generation later.

2. Check-In Workflow Enhancement

When an inbound package arrives, HexPrep detects that it’s linked to a Two-Step item during check-in. The system automatically displays the pre-uploaded labels, and our team can directly create and ship the outbound shipment right from the check-in screen. This means the package can enter and leave our warehouse within minutes — with no need for storage or further handling.
